The
Outdoor Office
The office buildings of tomorrow are green oases and contribute to making cities more climate-friendly through innovative sustainability concepts. Our focus: preserving the old and transferring it into a beautiful future in a resource-saving way.
During the pandemic, we had to find new ways to meet and interact with as little risk as possible. Yoga classes were held in the park, school lessons moved to the playground, meetings took place during walks, and correspondence with clients was conducted on a laptop in the garden. What was born out of necessity has become an integral part of the NEW WORK way of working.
The outdoors is becoming an integral part of modern working concepts.
And so we use inviting outdoor areas such as courtyards, terraces and open staircases as spaces that are always in season: shade in summer, sun in winter and optimally equipped for flexible, exclusive use. This creates versatile spaces for relaxation and communication, for little escapes from everyday life – or mobile offices in the fresh air that impress with unique features.
We design the Outdoor Office as a healthy environment that meets our natural needs. Staff can satisfy their desire for fresh air, natural light and exercise. Routines are broken up and new inspiration is sparked – leading to greater concentration, resilience and health.
At the NEW WORK STATION, therefore, everything is geared towards greenery. Plant islands in the courtyard provide striking contrasts to the industrial character of bygone eras and offer freshness and vitality. This creates fluid transitions and open spaces that have a positive effect on our thinking and well-being.
